The Art for Sale WQ appears to be a pretty daunting undertaking for the average 5th grade child. Making a spreadsheet, keeping a journal, making the types of decisions necessary to come up with a quality product--that's asking a lot! Gifted 5th graders, maybe. However, I still think they'd need a ton of scaffolding to be successful. If this WQ was targeted at upper middle school kids or higher, I think it would be quite good. It definitely requires higher level thinking and a group process in order to complete the task.
